Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safe moving and handling.

Administer prescribed medication in accordance with care plans and relevant procedures, and monitor changes in clients’ health.

Prepare meals according to individual dietary requirements and preferences.

Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe living environment.

Support clients with meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.

Provide companionship and emotional support.

Maintain accurate care records and report concerns or changes in clients’ conditions to the appropriate personnel.

Support older people and individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.
Requirements

Care experience: Previous experience in home care is highly desirable.

Personal care skills: Ability to assist clients with daily living activities while respecting their privacy, dignity, and independence.

Elderly and dementia care: Strong patient-care skills, particularly in senior care, Alzheimer’s disease, and dementia support.

First aid and behaviour management: Knowledge of appropriate caregiving techniques, first aid, and behaviour management.

Moving and handling: Ability to assist clients with mobility and transfers safely.

Medication support: Ability to follow prescribed medication instructions and relevant care procedures.

Meal preparation: Competence in preparing meals that meet individual dietary needs.

Driving requirements: A valid UK driving licence and access to your own car are essential.

Communication skills: Excellent communication, empathy, patience, and a compassionate approach to client interactions.

Language: English proficiency is required.

Availability: Ability to work approximately 37.5 hours per week.

Work arrangement: Willingness to provide care in person across the required service area.
