Description

• Manage and grow the company’s direct e-commerce website, converting marketplace sales into website revenue.

• Improve website performance through technical SEO, site-speed optimisation, and conversion rate optimisation (CRO).

• Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including Google Shopping, paid search, and website traffic generation.

• Manage inventory and stock-control software to synchronise stock levels across the website and external marketplaces.

• Maintain databases, custom scripts, API integrations, and automated order fulfilment processes.

• Ensure compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, including cookie consent, privacy policies, data retention, and data subject access requests.

• Oversee cybersecurity, SSL certificates, vulnerability checks, server backups, user permissions, and secure payment processing.

Requirements

• Work location: Must be able to work on-site in Middlesbrough, UK.

• Visa eligibility: Must currently hold a valid UK Student Visa (nearing completion or recently completed studies) or a UK Graduate Visa.

• Education: Hold or be completing a UK bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, E-Commerce, or Digital Marketing.

• Understand UK GDPR principles and e-commerce data protection requirements.

• Have practical experience with technical SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.

• Be familiar with e-commerce platforms such as WordPress/WooCommerce, Shopify, or Magento.

• Understand inventory management systems, API integrations, and database management.

• Be capable of managing digital marketing, IT infrastructure, website operations, and data security in a hands-on role.

• Submit a CV and cover letter specifying current UK visa status, UK university, course completion date, relevant experience, and ability to work on-site.
