At Hollywynd Rest Home, a small, independent residential care facility with a Good CQC rating, we are seeking a committed and self-assured Senior Carer to join our welcoming team.
With a long-standing manager and deputy as well as a compassionate, dependable staff that is committed to giving our residents excellent, person-centred care, you will be joining a reputable and encouraging team.
About the Position
In your role as a senior care assistant, you will:
- When on duty, oversee the shift and make sure that collaboration and high standards of care are upheld
- Lead by example on the floor by assisting, directing, and mentoring care personnel
- Maintain compliance and support our person-centred principles by working closely with the management team
- Put in 36 hours a week, including every other weekend
- Get the chance to work overtime when it’s feasible

Experience & Qualifications
- Health and Social Care NVQ Level 3 (recommended)
- experience working in a care home as a senior carer or in a comparable leadership position
