We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in adult care homes, supported living environments, or community settings.
Requirements:
- Previous 6 months’ experience in care or support work is desirable but not essential.
- DBS on Updated Service. (Must)
- Moving and Handling Practical / Manual Training Certificate (Must)
- Medication Administration Practical Training Certificate (Must)
- Willingness to undertake training and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with meal preparation, nutrition, and hydration needs.
- Support service users with medication administration in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and the use of mobility aids where required.
- Monitor and report changes in service users’ physical, emotional, or mental well-being.
- Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation.
- Promote safeguarding, health and safety, equality, diversity, and dignity at all times.
- Build positive relationships with service users, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of person-centred care and support plans.
