Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide medication administration following prescribed schedules and protocols
• Support patients with meal preparation, nutrition planning, and feeding as needed
• Engage in behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions and emotional well-being
• Conduct light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
• Take clients to appointments, errands, or social activities safely and responsibly
• Monitor health status, report changes to healthcare professionals, and assist with basic nursing tasks when appropriate

Qualifications

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home care environments is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication skills with an empathetic approach to client interaction
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
