Overview of the Job

To manage day-to-day store operations, we are looking for a committed and affable shopkeeper. The ideal applicant will be well-organised, have a strong focus on customer service, and have outstanding communication skills. This position entails overseeing sales, keeping track of inventory, and making sure that every guest is made to feel welcome. To help a varied customer, fluency in both Spanish and English is highly desired. In order to maximise sales chances, the shopkeeper will also manage data entry duties and employ upselling strategies.

Principal Tasks and Accountabilities:

• Ordering, receiving deliveries, reviewing invoices, and making sure shelves are filled are all part of managing stock levels.
• Maintain store displays to make sure items are attractive to customers, well-priced, and displayed nicely.
• Serve clients by listening to their requirements, offering product recommendations, and helping them make decisions and buy things.
• Manage sales transactions, run cash registers, and uphold precise cash handling protocols.
• Oversee the opening and closing of the store while making sure security measures are followed.
• Preserve the store’s general cleanliness and maintenance.
• Respond quickly and expertly to consumer questions, grievances, or concerns.
• Always follow business policies and health and safety standards.
• Maintain precise inventory records and take stock on a regular basis.

Crucial abilities and credentials:

• Three years of relevant experience is required, or some relevant experience must be acquired upon graduation.
• Expertise in customer service and retail sales.
• The capacity to work autonomously, effectively manage workload, and guarantee excellent service standards.
• A driver’s license is necessary.

Additional prerequisites:

Willingness to work a variety of hours, such as on the weekends or in the nights, if necessary to meet business requirements.
