Overview of the Job

To support and manage domiciliary care services in clients’ homes, assisted living facilities, and community settings, we are looking for a sympathetic and skilled Team Lead. The chosen applicant will be crucial to maintaining high standards, supporting care personnel, and guaranteeing the provision of high-quality care. In order to improve service quality and client wellness, this position combines providing direct care, making care calls, performing spot checks, and mentoring employees.

Important Duties

  • Provide customers with excellent individualised care and assistance in their homes.
  • Make routine care calls to guarantee service continuity and quality.
  • Monitor employee performance and compliance by conducting spot checks and supervisions.
  • Serve as a senior employee who mentors, supports, and advises carers.
  • Help clients with everyday tasks like clothing, meal preparation, mobility, and personal hygiene.
  • Administer medication in accordance with business regulations and care plans.
  • Assist customers with their mobility, including any necessary physical handling
  • Encourage independence and dignity by offering company and emotional support.
  • Help with minor housework to keep the area tidy and safe.
  • When necessary, transport clients to social events or appointments.
  • Keep an eye on and quickly report any changes in the health or well-being of your clients.
  • Encourage and uphold a healthy, secure, and person-centred care environment

Experience & Requirements

  • A minimum of one year of experience in home care, domiciliary care, or a comparable environment
  • It is ideal to have prior experience helping people with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or other complicated requirements.
  • Demonstrated capacity to guide, assist, and mentor care personnel
  • Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (finished, in progress, or eager to pursue)
  • A current driver’s license in the UK that allows entry to one’s own car
  • Understanding of basic care procedures and how to administer medications
  • Strong knowledge of person-centred care and safeguarding
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities

Extra Details

Candidates who have worked for us for at least six months are eligible for a limited number of visa sponsorship options.

Types of Jobs: Full-Time, Part-Time

Pay range: £13.45 to £15.00 per hour

Expected weekly hours: 16–40
