Learn how to get to Silvermoon City as Alliance with ease. In the World of Warcraft (WoW) game, there is a city called Silvermoon City (also know as Silvermoon Regal and Regal City of Silvermoon). It is the capital of the blood elves. The city lies within the kingdom of Quel’Thalas, at the northernmost tip of the Eastern Kingdoms.
If you are a WOW player, one day you will definitely want to get to Silvermoon City. As an Alliance player, I will show you how to get to Silvermoon City as Alliance. This is a 2020 guide and still working perfectly.
There are many ways to get to Silvermoon city. It all depends on your current location. You can get to Silvermoon city from Dalaran, Orgrimmar, or Stormwind. Before we talk about how to get to Silvermoon City, let’s discus how Silvermoon city entrance looks like.

How to Get to Silvermoon city entrance

Silvermoon is in a no-fly zone with only one external entrance with half dozen horde npcs just in side the main entrance.
Use the portal from the north of Eastern Plaguelands to Ghostlands and ride your mount to the north until you reach Eversong Woods and continue to ride.
There is an only one flight point in Quel’thalas that Alliance players can reach near the dungeon of Zul’aman, you can ride to that flight point from anywhere in eastern kingdoms and then mount up to the north.
Take a flight from stormwind to Eastern Plaguelands, then running north until you reach Silvermoon. Try to walk in and got killed by the guard NPCs.
You have to walk just past the front gate to get the credit. So run around the bend of the hall and right over the line into the city itself. Then you’ll get it. If you’re fast and don’t get dazed you might be able to run back out to escape the guards. But that’s the only way for Alliance to get into the city. Run, run, and run as fast as you can. If they kill you then do the ghost walk as far past your body as you can before rezzing.
If you have a low level horde toon, remember to use it to have a nice stroll around the city.
How to get to silvermoon city from orgrimmar
Continue into the main room for the portal to Silvermoon.
- The portal will have an image of Silvermoon inside it, as well as two Blood Elves standing outside
- You can also mouse-over the portal and check that it says ‘Silvermoon’ in the tooltip.
