We are recruiting a committed Senior Delivery Manager to join our Exam Technology Organisation. The selected candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of cloud native and platform-based solutions to support our worldwide assessment activities.
About Role
You will report to the Delivery Lead and will be responsible for:
Other duties and responsibilities include:
- Helping to deliver effectively across a portfolio of apps and agile teams, managing dependencies, coordinating releases, ensuring technical solutions are scalable, secure and suitable for purpose.
- Own the technology stack in scope, be accountable for supportability, performance and security compliance, and lead technical impact assessments and delivery estimates.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, testers and architects to promote continuous improvement and build a culture of cooperation and accountability.
- Led cross-functional teams of developers, testers and DevOps engineers without having direct line management authority.
- Complex delivery environments, influencing priorities with senior IT and business stakeholders, Release planning, Risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
- Contribute to the evolution of cloud technologies and their inclusion in delivery pipelines and architecture.
This position has been designated as a hybrid position, where the successful candidate will generally spend 40-60% of time working and interacting in person at their assigned location.

Your Profile
The following skills and qualities are essential to succeed in this vital role:
- Significant experience with delivery management, project management or agile coaching in a software development context.
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles.
- Hands-on expertise in assisting Scrum or Kanban delivery.
- Good working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP welcome) and how they fit into delivery pipelines and architecture.
- Enough hands-on technical awareness of cloud environments and modern application stacks to own supportability, question technical proposals and support delivery decisions.
- Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
- Proven experience in managing resource capacity.
- Data-driven approach.
- Comfortable working with overseas, outsourced teams.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Power BI.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of developing AI tools.
- Knowledge of assessment technologies.
- Relevant cloud or delivery certification.
