QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

• Foundation degree or equivalent level 5 study
• Mathematics and English level 2/GCSE grade 4 or equivalent

Desirable

• Level 3 counselling course or equivalent, or counselling experience
• Mentoring or line managers course or experience

PROFESSIONAL / MANAGERIAL / SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE

Essential

• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
• Able to use Microsoft IT and email
• Competent in the use of IT and NHS systems and programmes and able to document in the electronic and written patient records

• Specialist knowledge and experience working with families with complex needs
• Experience working with families in need
• Knowledge of Social Services and benefits systems to enable assisting families through benefits applications
