Job Summary

Table of Contents

To assist the multi-disciplinary ASC Assessment Pathway (Autism Spectrum Condition) to provide quality Autism assessment and therapeutic services to children and young people. Working with support systems to gather multi-agency assessment information to contribute to multi-agency diagnostic panel decisions.

Main duties of the job

To support and assist in providing assessment relating to ASC diagnosis under the clinical supervision of a qualified staff, working independently according to a plan agreed with a qualified staff and within the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures.
Under the guidance of the Clinical staff (Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Art Therapy and SALT) to assist with the audit and evaluation activities of the CAMHS ASC Pathway.
To work within the policies of Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, and the codes of conduct and professional guidelines laid down by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC); the British Psychological Society (BPS) and its Division of Clinical Psychology.

Degree or professional training in a relevant field
Experience working with children and young people in a clinical or educational setting
