• Bachelor’s degree at 2:1 in any subject
• Enrolled/willingness to enrol on a programme of study for a postgraduate certificate (Level 7) delivering the national curriculum for Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioners (Adult Specialist Mental Health)
• Meets criteria for NHSE to fund training (home student status)

Experience

Essential

• Experience of work interacting with the public
• Experience working as part of a team
• Experience of analysing and communicating complex information verbally and in writing

Desirable

• Lived experience of mental health issues/difficulties

Knowledge / Skills

Essential

• Assessment and formulation with client group, including risk assessment
• Psychological interventions with client group
• Conditions and secondary care context of care planning

Desirable

• Knowledge/working experience of the Croydon locality

Abilities

Essential

• Teamworking, liaison, supervision
• Rapport building and communication
• Fitness to undertake required tasks flexibly with complex caseload
