Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software applications, websites, APIs and business systems.

• Write clean, efficient, reliable and maintainable code.

• Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Develop and manage databases, APIs and system integrations.

• Test, debug and troubleshoot software to ensure functionality, security and performance.

• Work with developers and stakeholders to turn business requirements into technical solutions.

• Use version control tools such as Git and follow Agile development practices.

• Assist with software deployment, ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement.

• Maintain technical documentation and follow software development best practices.

• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver software aligned with organisational objectives.

Requirements

• Master’s degree required in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of one or more programming languages, such as:

  • C#

  • Python

  • Java

  • JavaScript

  • TypeScript

• Experience with frontend or backend frameworks, databases and API development.

• Understanding of the SDLC, software testing, debugging and version control.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Oracle Cloud.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team.

• Knowledge of cloud computing, Agile methodologies and software architecture is desirable.

• Familiarity with artificial intelligence, machine learning and modern development tools is advantageous.

• Must be able to commute reliably to Uxbridge or relocate before starting work.
