Qualifications

Essential

• Evidence of continued professional development to Master’s level or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
• Recognised Leadership and/or Management qualification or evidence of leadership development and proven ability to perform at a senior level

Desirable

• Project Management (e.g., Prince2).
• ILM5 Leadership and Management.
• Formal training in SQL and Power BI.

Experience

Essential

• Experience in the field of data analytics, including SQL, Power BI, SSRS, and Excel.
• Experience in developing information reports/dashboards using Power BI and other analytics tools, Proven track record for communicating highly technical data analysis to non-technical people, both orally and in writing.
• Previous experience in strategy development (long and short term) and implementation
• Policy review, development, and implementation, with experience in Information Management and reporting functions.
• Substantial experience in line management.
• Experience in change management.

Skills

Essential

• Substantial experience at a senior level managing staff in a similar function in an NHS acute setting or a similar environment

Desirable

• Specialist knowledge of developing large-scale, complex demand and capacity models using NHS information systems
