We are a warm, welcoming, and evolving team seeking an Assistant Psychologist to support our needs-led model of care within Children’s at UHP.

The role supports both children and young people with physical health difficulties and also those with neurodivergence, offering flexible, proportionate psychological input based on individual need rather than diagnosis. Working under the supervision of a qualified psychologist, you will support assessments, deliver delegated, protocol-based interventions, contribute to group work and resources, and help embed psychologically informed practice across MDT pathways.

We are looking for someone with a psychology degree (2:1 or above with GBC), experience working with children or families, and an interest in neuroaffirmative, child-centred practice. You will be adaptable, compassionate, and comfortable working within a service undergoing positive change.

We offer regular supervision, development opportunities, and a genuinely kind and inclusive team culture. We look forward to meeting you.
