About the Role

We are currently recruiting a School Cleaner on behalf of a local school in Boston, Lincolnshire. This is an agency‑led position, offering reliable work within a school environment and ongoing support from a dedicated agency team.

The role plays a vital part in ensuring the school remains clean, safe, and welcoming for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets and wash areas
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
• Replenishing soap, paper towels, and cleaning supplies
• Following health & safety and safeguarding procedures
• Maintaining high cleaning standards in line with school requirements

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience desirable but not essential
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Understanding of hygiene and health & safety standards
• Enhanced DBS certificate required (or willingness to obtain one through the agency)
