We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily business operations and ensure organisational efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategies, managing teams, and implementing policies that optimise productivity and service quality. Duties
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to streamline processes across departments.
- Lead, motivate, and manage teams to achieve operational targets while fostering a positive working environment.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports to inform senior management of operational performance.
- Coordinate with other departments such as finance, HR, and sales to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
- Oversee supply chain management, inventory control, and procurement activities to optimise resource utilisation.
- Identify areas for improvement within operational processes and lead initiatives for continuous enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and organisational policies.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and optimise operational expenditure to meet organisational objectives.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and support organisational growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in operations management or a similar leadership role within a relevant industry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams and collaborate across departments.
- Proficient in the use of relevant software applications such as MS Office Suite or specialised management tools.
- Demonstrable problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset towards process optimisation.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations, compliance standards, and quality assurance practices.
- A recognised management qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
