- Conduct market research into:
- Client preferences
- Local beauty-market trends
- Competitor activity
- Analyse market data and provide actionable insights to management.
- Help develop and execute marketing strategies for the salon.
- Support digital marketing campaigns using:
- Social media
- Email marketing
- Local promotional activities
- Act as a link between clients, suppliers, the salon team and management.
- Ensure marketing activities reflect client needs and the salon’s brand identity.
- Recommend improvements to:
- Promotional offers
- Pricing communication
- Packaging
- Treatment positioning
- Monitor advertising and marketing campaigns and make adjustments based on performance and feedback.
- Produce marketing reports covering outcomes such as bookings, customer engagement and footfall.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to management.
Requirements
- A degree or qualification in Marketing, Business or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in marketing, advertising or a similar role is preferred.
- Experience in beauty, wellness or another client-facing industry would be particularly relevant.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Knowledge of market research methodologies.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with clients and other stakeholders.
- Creative problem-solving ability.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to turn data into practical marketing recommendations.
- Ability to collaborate with the salon owner/director and wider team.
