Overview Job

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome late arrivals, assist with check-in and check-out.
• Handle guest requests, questions and room service during the night.
• Constantly monitors security and cctv systems.
• Ensure all entrances, exits and public spaces are secured.
• Carry out fire, health and safety checks.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of reception, lobby and public areas.
• Luggage assistance and guest transportation assistance.
• Prepare conference rooms, breakfast and breakfast facilities or public spaces for the next day.
• Assist with night audit and administrative activities as needed
• Respond to crises or guest concerns in a calm and effective manner.
• rooming/cleaning bedrooms, as necessary.

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and stay alert all night long.
• Good problem solving and organising skills.
• Basic computer and administrative capabilities.
• Reliability, professionalism and attention to detail.
• Awareness of health and safety protocols.

Typical duties on a shift

• Security patrol, building inspection.
• Reception cover and telephone enquiries
• Helping guests with requests and bags.
• Cleaning and tidying public spaces.
• Completing nighttime reports and hand overs.
• Getting the motel ready for the morning run.
