In order to provide domiciliary (home) care services to clients in their homes, we are looking for a committed and caring Care Assistant with a current driver’s license. This position entails providing person-centred care as well as crucial transportation support to help clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Help with daily living tasks includes clothing, grooming, bathing, and using the restroom

Support clients with mobility and transfers using appropriate movement and handling techniques

Administer drugs in compliance with treatment guidelines and established procedures.

Assist with eating and drinking as needed, and prepare wholesome meals.

Key Requirements

Prior experience in home care, domiciliary care, or comparable care environments

A valid driver’s licence in the UK with no more than six penalty points
-
Own a car with the proper insurance for work use

Knowledge of safeguarding protocols and dedication to the protection of vulnerable adults

Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively

The ability to move and handle objects safely

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

An approach to care that is considerate, patient, and respectful

The ability to work different shifts, such as weekends, evenings, and bank holidays

Willingness to travel locally between clients’ residences
Desired Experience & Qualifications

Health and Social Care NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 (or desire to work towards)

Experience helping clients with dementia, learning difficulties, or complex needs

Moving and handling certification

Qualification for First Aid at Work
