Essential

• BTEC level 3 Diploma in Early Years or CACHE Diploma in Child Care and Education, Level 3 (2-year course) or NVQ/QCF level 3 in Early Years and Education or NNEB/National Diploma in Childhood Studies

Desirable

• NVQ/QCF level 4 in Early Years and Education

Experience

Essential

• Previous experience of working with infants, children, and parents/carers.

Desirable

• Experience in a community or health-related field. Experience in facilitating groups.

Skills

Essential

• Good organisational skills? Ability to plan own work? Ability to work in a team and develop a good working relationship with other agencies? Excellent communication skills? Computer literate e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Clear communication methods for young people and carers/parents with a disability
