Evening Cleaning Position at a central Cardiff location.

For the next 3 weeks, it will be 1.5 hours, on a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (4.5 hours), going up to 3 hours per shift from the beginning of May. (9 hours per week)

Extreme Kleen is the fastest-growing cleaning company in the South West and Wales. In short, we clean, maintain, and manage all manner of sites, keeping them spick and span and safe for staff and visitors alike!

We clean everything, from house clearance to unattended death, sharps, and pigeon guano. Our team does the lot, even the boss gets stuck in! But don’t worry about that (we try and keep him out of the way), some of those jobs aren’t for everyone, so we want YOU! to be the next member of our commercial cleaning team.

You will be the person, the go-to, the face of the business! Who will be responsible for looking after one of our favorite clients’ sites, three times a week, as mentioned above? But the first shift will probably be around 2 hours, just to get it to that space where it’s looking great. So it’s easy, right? Those Hours? Nothing on the TV at that time anyway! Maybe The Chase and the news, but you can record that if you really want to.

What are the duties?

We will need you to ensure it’s safe and clean and germ-free for the builders and managers there, so that you will be wiping down the desks, vacuum/sweep hard floors, vacuum any carpets as they go down, mop the bathroom, and generally take pride in what you do. Again, easy, right?

Duties (In much more detail this time!)

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate tools and cleaning agents
• Maintain the cleanliness of windows, glass doors, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine
• Dispose of trash and recyclables properly, adhering to waste management protocols
• Follow safety procedures during cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning routines for prompt resolution
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled to uphold the highest standards of hygiene

Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods while performing cleaning tasks
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to thoroughness and quality
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently within scheduled hours
• Good communication skills to understand instructions and collaborate with team members
• Prior experience in cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if needed
