We are looking for a skilled and proactive Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our growing technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of our systems and infrastructure while supporting continuous improvement and automation initiatives.

The role involves close collaboration with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure high system availability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and improve system reliability, availability, and performance.
• Support cloud infrastructure, deployments, and production environments.
• Automate operational tasks and improve system efficiency through scripting and tooling.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and network-related issues.
• Work closely with development and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident management solutions.
• Participate in system upgrades, patching, and disaster recovery planning.
• Ensure systems follow security, compliance, and operational best practices.
• Support capacity planning, performance tuning, and scalability improvements.
• Contribute to documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

• Experience with Linux/Unix systems administration.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Previous experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform or Ansible, is advantageous.
