Indiana BMV what do I need to register a car
When you apply for an Indiana driver’s license, you must surrender all valid credentials (identification card, learner’s permit, or driver’s license) you hold from other states. If you do not hold a valid driver’s license from another state, you must hold an Indiana learner’s permit for 180 days before you may obtain an Indiana driver’s license.
See the requirements below;
- Must be 18 years or older
- United States birth certificate. Must be an original or certified copy filed with a U.S. state or territory office of vital statistics or equivalent agency in your state of birth. Puerto Rican-born citizens must provide a birth certificate issued on or after July 1, 2010.
- Unexpired United States passport.
- Foreign passport with a visa and I-94 form.
- Consular Report of Birth Abroad.
