Education/ Qualifications

Essential

• Hold, or be expected to attain a recognised health care profession degree 2:1 or above
• Have an up-to-date professional portfolio.
• Hold, or be able to apply for, HCPC, NMC, or GMC registration

Knowledge, Training & Experience

Essential

• Demonstrate undergraduate experience of working in the field/area of health care

Desirable

• Demonstrate qualified experience of working in the field of diagnostic imaging.
• Demonstrate experience in medical ultrasound.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Essential

• Demonstrate theoretical, practical, and professional knowledge of an area of healthcare
• Demonstrate an ability to communicate with patients and other health care workers.
• Registered/registering on a recognised programme of study leading to eligibility to work at Band 7
• Commitment to undergo all training requirements of the post.

Desirable

• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of a wide range of general and specialised radiography.
• Demonstrate evidence of good academic skills
• Knowledge and insight into current trends in radiographic practice and wider NHS issues.
• Expand upon core knowledge using Evidence-Based Practice(EBP)
