We are seeking an ambitious radiographer with experience in cross-sectional imaging to join our expanding team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop their CT or MRI knowledge, with the possibility of also working in SPECT CT.
The department is equipped with a 1.5T Siemens Sola MRI scanner and a recently installed 3T Philips Elition X MRI scanner, as well as a Siemens X.Cite CT scanner and a Siemens Intevo Bold SPECT/CT scanner.
The department runs a shift system that requires long days, weekend working, and out-of-hours on-call commitments.
Main duties of the job
To provide high-quality cross-sectional imaging for a wide range of patient groups, including paediatrics, oncology, and orthopaedics. Working together with the rest of the team to ensure patients are cared for safely and compassionately while adhering to department protocols and policies.

Qualifications
Essential
- BSc or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography
- Current HCPC registration
- Evidence of CPD
Desirable
- Postgraduate qualification relevant to imaging
- IV cannulation
Experience
Essential
- Working knowledge of IRMER and IRR
- Experience of working out of hours
- Experience in managing one’s own workload
- Experience in CT or MRI
- Experience of working in the NHS
Desirable
- Experience in Nuclear Medicine
- Experience in orthopaedic imaging
Knowledge
