Capital Projects Manager Position
- Job Type: Full Time
- Salary: £63,665 – £70,887 per annum

Summary of the Position
The Capital Project Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering complex capital projects across the Trust’s estate portfolio – generally £0.1m to £15m in value – ensuring projects are executed safely on time, within budget, and in accordance with NHS governance requirements.
The postholder will be responsible for the management of several concurrent schemes, which include clinical refurbishments, new builds, infrastructure improvements (mechanical, electrical, BMS, decarbonisation), and compliance-driven works (HTM/HBN, fire safety, water safety, ventilation).
The post holder will be required to deputise for the Senior Capital Projects Manager as necessary.
The Position’s Main Tasks
The position holder will be required to work in a big and complicated setting and make a significant contribution to the delivery of the Trust’s approved objectives.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of allocated capital projects from RIBA Stage 0-7
- Develop Project Execution Plans and a comprehensive delivery programme
- Capital plans must be in line with the Trust’s established objectives and clinical service advancements
- Manage multi-disciplinary design teams, cost consultants, and contractors
- Ensure all projects adhere to CDM Regulations and Trust governance processes
