Project Manager – UK visa sponsorship
BritGreen Energy provides energy-efficient and renewable heating solutions to homes all around the United Kingdom. Through government-backed programs like the Warm Homes Plan and Boiler Upgrade Scheme, we install air source heat pumps, solar PV, insulation, and heating upgrades to help needy households lower their energy costs and enhance their quality of life.
The Function
To supervise the completion of our installation projects, we are seeking a project manager. You will oversee teams, manage budgets and schedules, and make sure installations are finished on schedule, under budget, and to the necessary standards.
Important Duties
- Organise and oversee installation projects in various locations and areas.
- To guarantee a seamless delivery, coordinate surveyors, installation crews, and subcontractors.
- Create project timetables, establish benchmarks, and monitor advancement in relation to goals.
- Oversee project budgets and provide reports on expenses, deviations, and projections.
- Determine and reduce project risks, and address problems as they emerge.
- Make sure installations adhere to scheme compliance, TrustMark, and MCS regulations.
- Communicate with clients to update them on project schedules and developments.
- To align delivery, collaborate with internal teams in sales, compliance, and customer service.
- Provide senior management with project status reports.
- To record lessons learned and enhance future delivery, do post-project reviews.
- Encourage ongoing development of project management procedures and resources.
Conditions
- A degree in project management, engineering, business, or a similar field.
- Knowledge of overseeing projects with several stakeholders and due dates.
- Strong planning and organising abilities.
- Capacity to monitor expenses and manage budgets.
- Outstanding communication abilities—capable of organising groups and keeping stakeholders informed.
- A problem-solving mentality that can adjust to shifting priorities.
- Adept at using project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Asana, Monday.com, or similar.
- Complete a driver’s license in the UK.
- The ability to work in the UK or be sponsored for a skilled worker visa.
Desired
- Qualifications for project management (PRINCE2, APM, PMP).
- Experience in the building, energy, housing, or home renovation industries.
- familiarity with government energy programs (Warm Homes Plan, BUS, ECO).
- Knowledge of the requirements for MCS and TrustMark compliance.
