Description

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 20 Destination Management Companies (DMCs) and their trips.

• Act as the primary contact for local travel partners and ensure they meet Flash Pack’s quality and service standards.

• Monitor portfolio performance and take corrective action when trips fall below quality targets.

• Onboard and train DMCs on the company’s brand, products, systems, and processes.

• Conduct regular partner performance reviews and provide constructive feedback with clear improvement goals.

• Negotiate compensation and recover costs when service quality falls short of expectations.

• Manage the end-to-end itinerary change process.

• Continuously improve travel products and customer experiences.

• Coordinate DMC activities with internal teams, including Customer Experience (CX), Safety, Finance, and Product Innovation.

• Deliver quarterly priorities focused on improving trip quality.

• Collaborate with three Key Account Managers and report to the Head of DMC Account Management.

Requirements

• Experience managing a portfolio of partner, supplier, or client accounts and improving performance.

• Proven ability to hold partners accountable, manage underperforming suppliers, renegotiate terms, and recover costs.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong commercial judgement.

• Ability to identify and deliver high-quality customer experiences.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and implement solutions independently.

• Ability to resolve issues promptly and manage complex situations.

• Excellent relationship management skills with external partners and internal teams.

• Confidence using performance data and dashboards to monitor results.

• Practical experience using AI tools.

• Clear, direct communication skills, including handling difficult conversations with partners.

• Collaborative working style aligned with Flash Pack’s values.

• Availability for at least three hours of daily overlap with core teams.

• Previous travel industry experience is not essential.
