Overview of the Job

 A £100 JOINING BONUS

 COS IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME (20 hours per week may be considered)

because of the preferences of our clients. We are looking for caring and committed female care workers to help people in their homes from 7 a.m. to 9.30 p.m. The job includes helping clients with everyday tasks, making sure they are safe, and encouraging their independence.

It is very desirable to have prior experience providing care, hospice care, dementia or Alzheimer’s care, or general caregiving. This paid role gives you the chance to improve people’s lives and advance your career in the healthcare industry.

Tasks

 Help clients with personal hygiene practices like dressing, grooming, and bathing

 Assistance with transfer and mobility tasks, including heavy lifting as required

 Make wholesome meals based on each person’s dietary needs

Administer medication in accordance with the guidelines and schedules specified

 Involve clients in worthwhile pursuits to enhance their mental and emotional health

 Effectively control behaviour, particularly when dementia or Alzheimer’s disease is present

To lessen the emotions of loneliness or isolation, offer emotional support and company

 Keep thorough notes of the care given and any modifications to the client’s condition

 As needed, transport customers to social events or appointments

 When necessary, use first aid techniques to quickly respond to situations

Experience

Prior experience in caregiving positions, including nursing, home care, or hospice settings, is helpful for candidates. It is preferred to have prior experience working with elderly or fragile individuals, including those with dementia or Alzheimer’s.

First aid, meal preparation, attitude control, and medicine delivery are all highly prized. It will be helpful to have experience in assisted living or nursing care environments.

Concerning You
