Support patients diagnosed with cancer throughout their care and treatment journey.

Help patients access appropriate cancer services, information and support.

Work closely with healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.

Provide information and guidance to patients, their families and carers.
-
Help patients navigate appointments, treatment pathways and relevant support services.
-
Communicate with clinical teams and other departments to ensure patients receive timely assistance.
-
Offer compassionate, patient-centred support while respecting dignity, confidentiality and individual needs.

Contribute to improving the patient experience and the coordination of cancer care.
Requirements
-
Have relevant experience supporting patients with cancer or working in a healthcare setting.

Demonstrate knowledge of basic medical terminology.

Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Be able to communicate effectively face-to-face, by telephone and through email.

Demonstrate empathy, patience and sensitivity when supporting patients and families.
-
Have experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Be able to manage emotionally challenging situations professionally.

Possess good observational, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Be flexible and able to respond to changing service demands.

Meet the required Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
