We are looking for a Business Development Manager to assist us build our clientele, obtain high-value contracts, and establish our brand in the Midlands and beyond as we continue to grow.
Overview of the Role
Driving the company’s strategic expansion and commercial growth will fall under the purview of the business development manager. This is a high-impact position that is best suited for a driven individual with experience in client relationship management, sales, and company development.
Principal Duties
- Locate, target, and negotiate agreements with fleet managers, car dealerships, and corporate clients.
- Create and put into action business development and sales plans specific to our premium services.
- To find trends, opportunities, and dangers from competitors, conduct market research.
- Establish and preserve solid ties with important partners and stakeholders.
- Lead contract discussions, oversee bids, and draft proposals.
- Track progress towards goals, keep an eye on performance, and give management data-driven insights.
- Represent the business at networking gatherings and industry events.
Experience & Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or a similar discipline, or its equivalent.
- Demonstrated expertise in account management, commercial sales, or company growth.
- Proven ability to win contracts and propel company expansion.
- While not required, prior experience in the automotive or service sector is preferred.
