Restaurant Bartender – Certificate of Sponsorship Available

Summary of Position

Bartenders: We are looking for talented and eager Bartenders to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a love for mixology and a dedication to providing excellent customer service in a high-volume setting. This position demands the ability to work with multiple point-of-sale systems, manage your time effectively, and provide outstanding service to our guests. Previous bartending experience necessary. A certificate of sponsorship is available for this position if requested.

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve drinks per conventional recipes or special requests.
• Check age to comply with licensing laws and to protect the safety of our customers.
• Keep the bar area clean and organised and ensure compliance with food safety and health requirements.
• Deliver exemplary customer service by interacting with customers, taking orders and addressing questions or concerns.
• Process transactions accurately through the POS system, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Assist with stock management, keeping an eye on stock levels and ordering stock when necessary.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure rapid service, especially during banquets and special functions during peak hours.
• Maintain the highest standards of hospitality and make a welcoming environment for all guests.

Work History

• Previous bartending experience required.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to build rapport with guests.
• Basic math for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• It is important to know about food safety standards and food handling rules in the food sector.
• Experience with brewing or cocktail preparation techniques is a plus, but not required.
