Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas and speciality beverages with flair and precision
• Assist with food preparation, including sandwiches, salads, and snacks, adhering to safety guidelines
• Always follow hygiene rules and cleanliness standards to ensure food safety requirements are met.
• Provide a great level of guest service, collecting orders, answering enquiries and serving guests
• Operate cash register accurately, including basic math abilities for transactions and change handling
• Keep your workspace neat and tidy, clean equipment and sanitise surfaces often
• Can multi-task during busy situations and use time productively to support team members

Qualifications:

• Previous barista experience is ideal, but not required; enthusiasm and a desire to learn are a must
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures for safe handling of food and drinks
• Customer service experience in a fast-paced setting, outstanding communication skills
• Ability to conduct food preparation duties with attention to detail and quality control
• Fundamental math skills for accurate cash transactions
• Strong time management abilities to prioritise duties on hectic shifts
• Positive attitude, reliability and a commitment to offer great client experiences
