Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified or established Physiotherapist to join our friendly team of therapists at our newly built Forest of Dean Hospital, working on the in-patient ward. We welcome applications from those looking for their first post or those seeking to develop their existing role. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the team and will work in a ward-based environment. You will work with an experienced and friendly multidisciplinary team alongside occupational therapists, nurses, GPs, mental health services, and social care.

In turn, you will be well supported with CPD opportunities to develop and grow as a therapist within our organisation.
Main duties of the job
Woodland View Ward at the Forest of Dean Hospital provides sub-acute care, rehabilitation, and end-of-life care to patients. Our aim is to enable people to live as independently as possible, and the ethos of the team is rehabilitation with a person-led approach to achieve recovery and return home. Much of the role involves assessment of patients with multiple pathologies, implementing rehabilitation goals, and coordinating safe discharges for the patients, whilst promoting a risk-positive ethos.

Essential
- Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy
- HCPC Registration
LENGTH AND / OR NATURE OF EXPERIENCE
Essential
- A broad range of clinical experience through comprehensive student placements
- Evidence of working unsupervised
- Evidence of working across multi-disciplinary and multi-agency boundaries
Desirable
- Solid experience as a physiotherapist or the ability to demonstrate relevant experience in the field of rehabilitation. To evidence a broad range of experience across a variety of clinical areas
