Job Description

Eagle Freights Ltd is currently looking for experienced and reliable Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) drivers to join our team. We are looking for applicants with experience driving HGVs in the UK who can adhere to all safety rules and deliver products on schedule.

Main Responsibilities:

• Drive HGVs to safely deliver goods to all parts of the UK.
• Inspect the car before and after the trip to check that it is roadworthy.
• Keep detailed records of all deliveries, vehicle inspections and mishaps.
• Obey all traffic laws and workplace policies.
• Work with clients and provide outstanding customer service.

The Requirements:

• Experience is good to have, but not a must
• Current LGV C+E driving licence.
• Tramp shift: 5.5 days a week
• Driver CPC – Certificate of Professional Competence.
• No drug usage history and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a full DBS check.
• Documents proving valid visa status (if applicable).
• Very good grasp of UK road networks and traffic laws.
• Great attention to detail and safety.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in long-trip driving.

Familiarity with GPS and other navigational instruments.
