Qualifications

Essential

• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including Maths and English
• Level 3 Diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technology (RSPH)

Desirable

• Evidence of CPD
• HTA Consent training
• AAPT member

Experience

Essential

• Experience of working in a mortuary (NHS or Council)
• Experience of participating in post-mortem examinations
• Exposure to deceased persons with traumatic injuries and those in various states of deterioration

Desirable

• Experience of liaising with bereaved family members
• Experience in completing mortuary records, electronic and paper
• Experience with different reconstruction techniques
• Exposure to babies, children, and young people
