RECYCLING SITE REQUIRES A HANDS-ON YARD OPERATIVE TO WORK IN A PREDOMINANTLY OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT

SALARY: £24K
LOCATION: Atherton
HOURS: Mon to Fri: 08:00 to 16:00
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: Metal Recycling Yard Operative, Skip Hire Waste Operative, Warehouse Operative, Labourer, Recycling Operative, Refuse Loader, Mechanic, Maintenance Technician
YOU MAY HAVE EXPERIENCE IN: Waste Management, Metal Recycling, Skip Hire, Construction, Demolition, Scrap Metal, Quarries, or Aggregates, Fencing, Landscape Gardening, Timber Merchants, Warehousing, Highways Maintenance, Plant Hire, Scaffolding, Groundworks, Maintenance
ROLE: Site Operative / Labourer – Metals Recycling Yard
Your role will be hands-on, focusing on the removal of attachments from metals and the efficient processing of scrap metals. You’ll be expected to carry out all tasks in line with site safety procedures, company policies, and health and safety standards. Keeping the work area clean and well-organised will be part of your daily routine. You’ll also be an integral part of a small, supportive team working together to maintain smooth and effective operations.
EXPERIENCE: Site Operative / Labourer – Metals Recycling Yard
You will be open to / and ideally have experience working outdoors in all weather conditions in a role where you will be on your feet all day
Any experience using hand / power tools ideal
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: Metal Recycling Yard Operative, Skip Hire Waste Operative, Warehouse Operative, Labourer, Recycling Operative, Refuse Loader, Mechanic, Maintenance Technician
