Essential

• Proven experience in a similar position within a large organisation, preferably over 5,000 users.
• Significant experience (7-10 years) in managing SQL environments in a virtualised environment.
• Some experience (2-4 years) in managing SQL cloud services
• Experience of supporting digital transformation projects (2-4 years) (migrating to the cloud, consolidating applications to one, consolidating application instances).
• Experience (5years) in technical project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring
• Proven track record in implementing security measures and managing IT costs through the application lifecycle
• Collaborations to improve service delivery and innovation
• 5-7 years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years focused on SQL Database Technologies

Qualifications

Essential

• Educated to a degree level or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Professional Training Courses – MS SQL administration, Design, and implementation

Desirable

• Relevant training courses (e.g., VMware, Storage Management, Hypervisor).
• PRINCE2 or similar.
• Certifications: MCSA Database Administration, MSCE: Data Management, ITIL Foundation
