Education and Qualifications

Essential

• BSc in Clinical Physiology -Neuro or equivalent degree
• ECNE Part I and/or B- Should be willing to undertake further study
• Scientific Training Programme, UK (STP) Qualifications

Desirable

• MSc in Neurophysiology or equivalent

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

• Broad experience in clinical EEG with significant post-qualification experience, including at least one non-standard procedure
• Good general knowledge of Clinical Neurophysiology
• Experience with clinical Eps, NCS, and/ or video/EEG telemetry
• Previous NHS experience in Neurophysiology

Desirable

• Experience working off-site with minimal/remote supervision

Skills & Competencies

Essential

• Able to communicate well with and relate to patients, including children
• Basic computer (keyboard) skills.
• Good knowledge and fluency in English communications, writing, and verbal skills at IELTS Level 7 (overseas applicant)
• Must be adaptable, forward-thinking, able to work well in a team, and autonomously

Desirable

• Familiar with Common Neurophysiology diagnostic systems
