It helps to have worked in care before, but complete training and assistance will be given.

What a Senior Caretaker Is Responsible For

• Helping those who use the service with their personal care tasks
• Help with drinks and food
• Help with taking medicine
• Help with going to the toilet
• Help with moving around, utilising the service user’s equipment
• Help keep the home environment clean
• Taking people out on trips
• Talk to other pros
• You have to be able to follow arrangements for care and assistance.
• Provide care and assistance to many types of service users, such as adults, seniors, those with mental health issues, learning disabilities, autism, physical impairments, medical concerns, and more.
• Go to the homes of service users in the morning, during lunch, at tea time, and at bedtime.
• Begin visits at 7 a.m. and follow the visit schedule times.
