Job Summary – Roofing Labourer

The Roofer is in charge of doing roofing installations, maintenance, and repairs on all residential homes under the Housing Association’s management. In order to give residents safe and secure homes, the position ensures that all roofing projects are finished safely, effectively, and to a high standard.

Important Duties of Roofing Labourer

• Perform emergency, reactive, and scheduled roofing repairs on houses owned by housing associations.

• Pitched, flat, tiled, slate, felt, and membrane roofs are among the roofing systems that can be installed, maintained, and repaired.

• Examine roofs to find flaws, water intrusion, structural problems, or hazards to health and safety.

• Complete repairs for guttering, fascia, soffits, flashing, pointing, and rainwater items.

• When necessary, replace damaged roofing sheets, felt covers, tiles, and slates.

• Knowledge of health and safety standards, notably those pertaining to operating at heights.

• The capacity to identify roofing issues and suggest suitable fixes.

• Complete UK driver’s license (needed).

• CSCS card (ideal).
