Description
Table of Contents
-
Conduct compliance, fire, health and safety, and environmental audits across assigned sites.

Carry out risk assessments in line with legal requirements and industry best practices.
-
Coordinate external audits with certification bodies in accordance with UKAS requirements.
-
Deliver training and provide professional guidance during audits and assessments.
-
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and other applicable requirements.
-
Investigate and resolve identified non-conformities.
-
Build strong relationships with clients, teams, and suppliers to improve service delivery.
-
Identify root causes of problems and support continuous improvement initiatives.
-
Report to the Principal Client Lead – HSE.
-
Work collaboratively within the Risk and Assurance team.
Requirements
-
At least 2 years of relevant experience in Real Estate or Facilities Management is desirable.
-
Valid, clean driving licence.
-
NEBOSH National General Certificate is essential.
-
NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management, NEBOSH Fire Safety, or over 5 years of relevant experience.
-
Experience planning, leading, and delivering audits.
-
Experience conducting combined Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) audits.
-
Experience carrying out Fire Risk Assessments.
-
Experience organising incident preparedness tests and fire drills.
-
Experience conducting emergency preparedness testing.
-
NCRQ Level 6 Diploma in Health and Safety or working towards an equivalent qualification.
-
Minimum Tech IOSH membership is essential; Graduate Member of IOSH is desirable.

Knowledge of Legionella and Legionnaires’ disease is desirable.
-
ISO 45001:2018 Internal Auditor qualification or willingness to obtain it.
-
IEMA Internal Auditor qualification or willingness to obtain it.
-
Legal right to work in the UK by the employment start date.

Ability to deliver training and ensure compliance with applicable legislation.
-
Ability to resolve non-conformities effectively.
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-
Ability to work independently, take initiative, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
