We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join a supported living service in Yeovil, providing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities.
This is a consistent weekend role, offering long day shifts every Saturday and Sunday, ideal for candidates seeking regular, ongoing work.
The Role:
- Supporting individuals within a supported living environment
- Promoting independence, choice, and dignity at all times
- Assisting with daily living tasks such as cooking, personal care, and household activities
- Encouraging community engagement and routine
- Delivering person-centred support tailored to individual needs
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a support worker or care worker (learning disabilities preferred)
- A strong understanding of promoting independence
- Reliable, committed, and able to work consistent weekends
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
