We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant who is kind and committed to joining our team. As a home care worker, your job will be to help patients in important ways, making sure they are comfortable and healthy. and someone who has worked with autistic people before. Your ability to speak clearly and cooperate well with other healthcare professionals will be very important for providing good treatment. It’s best if you have a valid driver’s license, since you might need to drive between places. must live in Falkirk.

Duties

• Help patients with daily tasks like personal cleanliness, cooking meals, and getting about.
• Make sure that patients follow their recommended regimens by putting care plans in place that are specific to each patient.
• Keep an eye on and document how the patient is doing, and let the healthcare staff know if anything changes.
• Follow health and safety rules to keep the area where patients are clean and safe.
• Give patients emotional support and friendship to create a happy environment.
• Use IT systems well for keeping records and talking to each other.

Experience

• Having worked in a care facility or as a home care worker before is helpful but not necessary.
• To talk to patients and coworkers clearly and effectively, you need to be able to speak and write English well.
• It’s really important to be willing to learn and change in a fast-paced setting.
• You need to have some basic IT abilities to keep records and use care management tools.
• To travel between care facilities, you must have a valid driver’s license. As a Healthcare Assistant, you can help people we care about by giving them kind support.
