Job Overview

Fishmonger WITH UK VISA SPONSORSHIP. We’re seeking a fishmonger who loves seafood. Postcode area RM12. The job requires you to serve customers at our Fish counter and use your fishmonger abilities to cut and prepare fish as needed, all under the supervision of our Head Manager.

What You Will Do

• Keep the place clean and safe: This entails keeping tools, equipment, and work areas clean and making sure that signs are clear and up to date.

• Keeping the fish prep spaces clean and organised and recording the daily temperatures of the freezers, chillers, and fridges can help keep the seafood fresh.

• You have to stand for long periods of time and lift large things from time to time.

• You will do a lot of different things to get our seafood ready for clients, such as descaling, gutting, filleting, trimming, packing, or wrapping it in a way that meets our customers’ needs.

• Put a selection of fish on our fish and deli counters so they’re ready to sell.

• It is very important to follow health and food safety rules. If necessary, training will be given.

• Check the stock and freshness every day, and let them know how much stock you have.

• The daily shift starts at 4:30 a.m.

What We Want

• At least two years of experience working as a fishmonger.

• Love fish and other delicacies.

• You must be able to work well with others.

• You need to be able to manage your time well to get a lot of work done and keep up with a fast-paced work environment.

• Must be able to speak English.

• You have to be able to learn quickly and adjust to new skill needs.

Salary

The salary range is £30,000 to £36,000 a year; however, you can negotiate based on your skills.
