• Location: Jersey General Hospital, Jersey, Channel Islands

• Salary: Advertised at around £119,025–£177,443 per year

• Employment type: Full-time, permanent consultant position

• Work arrangement: In person, hospital-based.

• Provide specialist respiratory and general medical care, manage inpatients, support junior doctors, and contribute to respiratory service development. Visa sponsorship may be available, subject to eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage respiratory and general medical conditions.

• Provide specialist consultations and perform diagnostic bronchoscopy.

• Supervise junior doctors and medical students.

• Participate in general medicine on-call duties.

• Contribute to clinical audits, research and service improvement.

• Support multidisciplinary teams and respiratory service development.

Requirements

• Medical degree and full GMC registration with a licence to practise.

• MRCP or equivalent higher medical qualification.

• Relevant specialist registration or eligibility for registration in Respiratory Medicine and General Internal Medicine.

• Consultant-level clinical experience and bronchoscopy skills.

• Experience with NIV and CPAP services.

• Strong leadership, communication, teaching and clinical management skills.

• Commitment to continuing professional development and patient safety.
