Education/Qualifications

Essential

• Certificate in Higher Education in Clinical Imaging (X-ray) or equivalent.

Desirable

• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

• Evidence of completion of relevant radiography modules.
• Experience performing routine X-ray examinations following departmental protocols.
• Understanding of radiation protection and IR(ME)R principles.

Desirable

• Experience working within an NHS Radiology Department
• Experience using RIS/PACS systems.

Skills and Abilities

Essential

• Ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently under supervision
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic IT and keyboard skills

• Experience mentoring or supporting trainees or new staff
