Qualifications

Essential

• Professional qualification BSc in Medical Imaging (Diagnostic Radiography)
• HCPC Accreditation
• Experience in CT radiography practice within the acute public sector healthcare (NHS)
• Post Graduate Certificate in CT scanning, including evidence of level study

Desirable

• 5 years of post qualification experience in radiography practice
• Leadership qualification, e.g., Mary Seacole or Rosalind Franklin

Essential

• Evidence of participation in clinical audit
• Evidence of line management and supervision of staff
• Knowledge of governance frameworks within Imaging
• Experience in teaching, mentoring, and coaching of staff

Desirable

• Knowledge of the UKAS accreditation programme and clinical implementation within a CT department
• Acted as Radiation Protection Supervisor in CT or general imaging
