About the Job – Warehouse Manager UK (Visa Sponsorship Available)
Baboo (Wholesale Meats) Ltd is looking for a Warehouse Manager to run the day-to-day operations of a busy wholesale meat business. The job is mostly about managing operations, keeping track of inventory, overseeing staff, arranging shipments, and making sure rules are followed.
Main Duties – Warehouse Manager Responsibilities UK
- Manage the everyday activities of the warehouse, such as receiving, storing, moving merchandise, and shipping.
- Oversee warehouse workers and assign tasks to keep the workflow going smoothly.
- Keep an eye on inventory accuracy, stock control systems, waste, and storage levels.
- Plan the processes for getting items in and out
- Plan the delivery and oversee the dispatch
- Make sure that all health and safety rules, food handling rules, cleanliness rules, and warehouse procedures are followed.
- Look for differences in stock, problems with operations, and delays in workflow.
- Make staff schedules, keep an eye on their work, and help with operational training
- Talk to managers, drivers, suppliers, and office workers about what the warehouse needs.
- Find ways to make things run more smoothly, handle stock better, and provide better service.
What You Need – Warehouse Manager Job Requirements UK
- Experience in managing storage, running a warehouse, or supervising a warehouse
