Job Summary

• Work as a trainee NM Radiographer performing a range of Isotope examinations
• Complete PG Diploma in Nuclear Medicine with an affiliated university course
• Complete in-house competencies and training
• Always provide a high standard of care to patients and relatives.
• Be responsible for professional leadership and the education, training, and development of self and others
• Work across professional and organisational boundaries to improve patient outcomes.
• To undertake all duties associated with the provision of a modern Isotope Imaging service, always providing a high standard of care.
• To participate in the supervision and training of student radiographers and isotope imaging trainees.
• Good Communication between the post holder and the department regarding any changes

Main duties of the job

The Post holder will:

• Perform a wide variety of specialised Isotope imaging procedures and examinations as required by radiology.
• Able to deal with high-pressure demands from service users, ensuring patient care is not compromised.
• Work as part of a team in Isotope imaging within the Trust, but also autonomously, prioritising and managing own workload.
